President

Chip Rome is the founder and President of Chipster Properties and responsible for directing all aspects of the company’s growth and operations. Chip has more than thirty (30) years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to founding Chipster Properties, he was a commercial real estate broker and top producer at Voit Real Estate Services, Burnham Real Estate Services/Oncor International (now Cushman & Wakefield) and as an owner of NAI San Diego. During his brokerage career, Chip leased and sold more than one million square feet of office and investment properties. Previous experience also included property and asset management.

Chip Rome graduated from The Hill School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kenyon College. Chip is an active member of the community and has held several board positions with non-profit organizations.

Since 1996, Chipster Properties and its affiliates have steadily grown the portfolio by both acquisition and appreciation of value. Holdings have included high-rise and garden style apartments, as well as pedestrian oriented commercial properties in San Diego, Philadelphia, Denver and Chicago. We invest in areas where people live, work and play in the same urban environment.
